I was born in Romania and I am a graduate of the University of Medicine of Pharmacy Carol Davila in Bucharest, where I practiced medicine for a few years before moving to the United States. I have been a Mayo Clinic doctor for more than a decade and I enjoy very much my patients, my colleagues and the overall thriving environment of this institution.

I was offered the opportunity to be involved in patient care, administration, education and research. I am married and have 2 daughters, one is a high school junior and one is a college. I enjoy traveling, swimming and biking. I am thrilled to be involved in supporting the mission of the Maya Dronca Foundation, as I am sure that this work will have a long-lasting impact in the lives of young patients and their families.
